On this edition of the Vale This Week:We head to Castleland Street in Barry, where a blue plaque was unveiled in memory of Gordon Yeo, the only Welsh Dam Busters. We’ll hear about his touching story and what led to the plaque being placed.As we head into the darker nights, we’ll be joined by Crime Reduction Tactical Officer, Deborah Elwood, to talk about the things we can all do to keep ourselves safe at home.On Saturday, Glamorgan Archives will open its doors for you to find out more about its work to protect and discover local history. Jasmin will find out more about the event.And a local company has brought together some of its suppliers to offer a garden rescue to a local family, organisation or charity. We’ll speak with Tom from JJPM Construction and Landscaping about the competition.All that, plus a round-up of local news, sport and events in and around the Vale of Glamorgan.
