Bro Radio Academy - Adult Courses

We’re always looking to increase the number of local voices involved in delivering our on-air service.

Bro Radio is the Vale’s Local Radio station, which aims to inform, educate, entertain and engage with the communities which we serve.

Through the award-winning Bro Radio Academy, we’re delivering free courses where you’ll be supported by experienced members of the team who will:

• introduce you to the world of radio
• guide you in the right direction to create and present a programme,
• teach you to use our radio systems
• help and support you to develop relevant local content for the communities we serve across the Vale of Glamorgan.
• help build your confidence too!

On completion of the course, you’ll have the opportunity to continue to develop content, by taking on your own programme as part of the on air line-up at Bro Radio.
