Affinity Female Voice Choir are a 55-person strong Cardiff-based choir whose repertoire covers a wide range of musical styles – everything from ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ to Calon Lan.

Founded in 2012 by Musical Director, Diane Wright, Affinity has performed in many venues across the region, including sell-out concerts in Llandaff Cathedral and at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Whilst they are well-known locally, the choir also tours in the UK and abroad, including delighting audiences in New York, USA earlier this year.

Following a performance with Bridgend Male Voice Choir in July, they featured on Radio Wales’ Roy Noble show.

As part of their ’25 in 2025’ performances, the choir will be raising the roof at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Penarth to raise vital funds for the Marie Curie Cardiff and The Vale hospice.

Supporting Affinity will be True Harmony, a very talented up-and-coming girl group from Penarth who have performed at a variety of events, including the Welsh Entertainment Awards and Stars of Tomorrow. The four teenagers absolutely love singing and kindly performed at the hospice’s Festive Fayre last December.
