Dot, from Butterfly Conservation, is leading 2 walks on Old Castle Down exploring the spring wildlife.
Old Castle Down, St Brides Major is home to Wales's rarest butterfly and many other special things. Spring is a great time to find out what plants and animals are emerging on the Down. Dot from Butterfly Conservation is leading 2 public walks in March, 1 on Thursday 19th March starting at 2pm and the 2nd on Saturday 21st March starting at 10.30am. Both walks will take about 2 hours, they are suitable for adults and children. Stout shoes and waterproof clothing are recommended. Meet at the cattle grid on the edge of St Brides Major.
