The Mayor of Barry, Councillor Dennis Clarke will be hosting an open coffee morning in the Town Hall, King Square on Saturday 28th June from 10am – 12.30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The morning is a chance to meet the Town Mayor and have a chat over a cuppa and a cake. It is free to attend, but any donations to the Mayor’s charities would be gratefully received. The Mayor’s chosen charities - Mind in the Vale and Valeways - will also be in attendance, and will be happy to chat to anyone about the work they do.

Mind in the Vale of Glamorgan is a local mental health charity connected to the national Mind organisation. They support people experiencing mental health challenges by providing information, practical help, and emotional support.

Valeways is an independent, volunteer-run charity in the Vale of Glamorgan created to promote health and wellbeing through walking, improve safe access to the Vale's countryside, and provide guided or self-guided walks for all ages and abilities.

Donations received on the morning will be split equally between the two charities.
