People's Emergency Briefing - Penarth

Join Gwyrddio Penarth Greening for the People's Emergency Briefing film which features footage from last November’s National Emergency Briefing which brought together leading UK experts in climate science, food security, health, economics, national security and nature. It presents a clear, measured overview of how the climate and nature crisis is affecting everyday life in Britain - and what the evidence says about risks and responses. Its purpose is to support informed democratic discussion and ensure that public institutions, businesses and communities share a common understanding of the scale and urgency of the challenge, but also the opportunities if we respond.

Following the 45-minute film, we will host a 30-minute discussion on what this means for our community. We arranged a screening in May which sold out in a few days, so we hope we'll have good attendance. Tickets are free, but if you'd like to attend, please book your place via the link provided.
