Barry Town Council’s Halloween event, Halloween Which Craft?, is returning to Central Park on Friday 30 October 2026, offering a fun-filled day of workshops, activities and games for the community to enjoy during the October half-term.
Taking place from 10am until 3pm, the event will feature a variety of activities for all ages, including a reptile encounter with Reptile World, archery with True Aim Activities, creative workshops, a spooky colouring station and a mini market featuring local traders.
Visitors can get hands-on with slime-making and cauldron bath bomb workshops hosted by The Crafty Club and Parties, or create their own bracelet with Handmade by Ffi, with workshops available for a small fee.
For those interested in local history and folklore, Victorian Barry Experience will host special talks at Barry Town Hall exploring the lores, facts and legends of the Cadoxton Witches. Three sessions will be available throughout the day, with advance booking required via TicketSource.
With free entry to the event and a range of free and low-cost activities, Halloween Which Craft? offers an opportunity for families and the wider community to enjoy some Halloween fun while supporting local traders.
Leader of Barry Town Council, Cllr Bronwen Brooks, said:
“I’m delighted that Barry Town Council is once again bringing Halloween Which Craft? to Central Park, offering a fun and affordable day out for families during the October half-term. With a range of activities, creative workshops and games, alongside opportunities to discover local folklore and support independent traders, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. We hope the event will bring the community together for a little Halloween fun while encouraging people to explore and enjoy what Barry has to offer.”
