American 'Old-Time' folk singer Riley Baugus will be appearing in Barry on the final date of his UK tour.
The musician will perform his 12th and last date at the Park Hotel on Monday 24th November - his only appearance in Wales - as part of this year's Barry Arts Festival.
Originally from the Blue Ridge Mountains, Baugus is known for his banjo playing and powerful singing voice as part of the American 'Old-Time' folk scene.
He's also performed at the annual Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow and toured with Appalachian Roots.
Barry Arts Festival organiser Mike Duggan said: "We're looking forward to Riley bringing with him his banjo, ballads, stories and songs of the Southern Appalachians."
"He's known as one of the most authentic players on the old-time music scene, having worked with T-Bone Burnett on 'Raising Sand' by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, and on Willie Nelson's 'Country Music'."
"This is a concert which will appeal to anybody who enjoys acoustic banjo and fiddle music, drawing upon influences of Americana, country, folk and related to bluegrass."
"As we reach the end of this year's entertainment, Barry Arts Festival would like to once again thank our sponsors this year, Barry Town Council and Newydd Housing Association."
