Motorists are being advised to allow extra time for any journeys as a series of closures and restrictions are planned on the A4232 later this month.
The outbound carriageway between Leckwith and Culverhouse Cross will be closed or restricted at various times between 16th and 22nd October to allow urgent repairs and maintenance work to take place.
The restrictions begin on Friday, 16th October, with a full outbound closure from 8pm until 9am.
A single lane will then be closed between 9am and 8pm on Saturday, 17 October, followed by another full closure from 8pm.
The most significant disruption is expected on Sunday, 18 October, when the outbound carriageway will be closed throughout the day and night and will remain fully closed until 5am on Monday, 19 October.
A contingency closure is also planned from 8pm on Wednesday, 21 October until 6am, if required, with another full outbound closure scheduled from 8pm on Thursday, 22 October until 6am.
