On the latest edition of The Vale This Week A by-election is set to take place next week in the Baruc Ward in Barry, on the Vale of Glamorgan Council. We’ll sit down with four of the six candidates standing to find out more about them and their views on some of the key issues impacting residents.A dance charity in Barry has been recognised by Paralympics GB in its Everybody Moves scheme. We’ll find out more about the work of Motion Control Dance Studio, in helping everyone have a chance to dance. Cardiff Airport has backed a campaign to make sure young people going abroad with friends are safe. The campaign has been led by the parents of Tom Channon, who died on a holiday to Magaluf back in 2018. Oliver will hear from them and Angelda Hewitson from Cardiff Airport about the scheme. Jasmin sits down with a Bro Radio Community Award winner, who’s launched a campaign to get his Bins for Boys scheme tied in legislation. She’ll hear from Ed Grant and more about his support group, CHILL - Cancer Help In Local Lives Nathan will hear more about the work of St Donat’s Chorale, ahead of its concert in Llantwit Major on Saturday.
