Consultation Launched on Proposed Changes to Rhoose Community Library’s Opening Hours

Tuesday, 28 July 2026 11:19

By Nathan Spackman

Residents in Rhoose are being encouraged to share their views on proposed changes to the opening hours at Rhoose Community Library, as a new public consultation gets underway.

The library, which is run as a community‑led facility and hosts a range of local activities, is asking users, visitors and residents to take part in the survey to help shape how services operate in future.

Organisers say the questionnaire is quick to complete, and that every response will play a part in ensuring the library continues to meet the needs of the village.

The consultation is open until 9 October 2026, giving people several weeks to submit their feedback.

A spokesperson for the library said the community’s input is vital as they look at how best to manage opening hours and plan ahead for future services.

The survey can be completed online at: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/qZ5qBvXycb

Residents are also being encouraged to share the link with friends, family and neighbours who use the library or live in Rhoose, to help gather as many views as possible.
