Young people across the Vale are being invited to a series of free summer activity days, with Llantwit Major Beach hosting the next event on Friday 31 July.
Vale Youth Service will run the session from 11am to 2:30pm, offering a mix of beach‑friendly activities designed for children and teenagers. The programme includes kite flying, arts and crafts, sports, and beach games, all free of charge.
The event aims to give young people a chance to get active, meet new friends and enjoy a relaxed day by the sea during the school holidays.
It forms part of a wider summer schedule, with two further dates confirmed:
-
Friday 7 August – Clifftops, Penarth (11am–2:30pm)
-
Friday 14 August – Colwinston Village Hall (11am–2:30pm)
All sessions are open to children and young people living in the Vale of Glamorgan, with no booking required.
Vale Youth Service said it looks forward to welcoming families throughout the summer as it continues to offer free, accessible activities in communities across the county.
