The Vale of Glamorgan Classic Car Show returned in spectacular fashion this May Bank Holiday Monday, drawing a record crowd to Sully for a day of motoring nostalgia, community spirit, and charitable giving.

Organised by the Dinas Powys Rotary Club, the much-loved annual event proved to be one of the most successful to date. Visitors were treated to an impressive display of just under 500 classic cars, alongside around 50 motorbikes, showcasing a rich variety of automotive history and craftsmanship.

Blessed with exceptionally hot and sunny weather, the show attracted a large and enthusiastic crowd throughout the day. Families, enthusiasts, and visitors from across the region gathered to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, explore the exhibits, and support a range of local stall holders.

The organisers have extended their heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the event's success. Special recognition goes to the main sponsors, WPS Performance and Evans Halshaw, whose generous support helped make the day possible.

Gratitude has also been expressed to all those who displayed their cherished cars and bikes, the many stall holders who added to the event's lively character, and the thousands of attendees whose presence created such a fantastic community occasion.

Beyond the impressive turnout and displays, the event also achieved its core purpose—raising a significant amount of money for both local and national charities. The Dinas Powys Rotary Club has praised the generosity of all involved, noting that the funds raised will make a meaningful difference to a wide range of causes.

A spokesperson for the organisers said:

"We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, exhibitors, stall holders, and everyone who attended. The support from the community was outstanding, and it's wonderful to see the event continue to grow each year while raising vital funds for charity."

With another successful show concluded, organisers are already looking ahead to next year's event, hoping to build on this year's momentum and once again bring the community together for a celebration of classic vehicles and charitable giving.
