A deaf teenager from Sully has raised over £450 after completing the Cardiff Half Marathon.
17 year-old Ioan Evans completed the 13-mile route around the Welsh capital and Penarth in a time of 2 hours and two minutes.
Ioan, who was born deaf, ran in aid of the National Deaf Children's Society, who supported his family.
He said: "What an amazing day – it was worth every minute."
"The crowd really gave me a boost whenever I started to get tired, and knowing I was doing it for the National Deaf Children's Society, who really helped me when I was younger, gave me all the motivation I needed to finish."
Having set a fundraising target of £300, Ioan went onto raise £455 for the charity, which supports deaf children and young people across the UK - including around 350 in Cardiff and the Vale.
Hannah Awesome, who supports fundraisers for the National Deaf Children's Society, added: "I want to say a huge thank you to Ioan for conquering the Cardiff half marathon for us - we're so very proud of you."
"The National Deaf Children's Society is dedicated to supporting the UK's 50,000 deaf children and their families. The efforts of selfless fundraisers like Ioan will help us to keep on doing our vital work, now and into the future."
