A second half comeback saw Barry Town United clinch their first win of the Cymru Premier season, beating Flint 3-1.
Steve Jenkins’ men were in need of a response after slipping to back-to-back defeats over the Bank Holiday.
Josh Yorwerth was the only change to the starting XI from last Monday’s game against Newtown, with defender Harrison Bright dropping to the bench, alongside debutant Aaran Bourne.
But the Silkmen - who are yet to register their first point since returning to the Welsh top flight - made the most of two defensive lapses to take the lead via Josh Jones on 20 minutes and Florian Yonsian on 39 minutes.
Barry needed a big second half in response - and it began with a penalty for Keenan Patten two minutes after the break.
Sam Snaith levelled for the hosts by nodding in a Robbie Willmott corner on 57 minutes before a smartly intercepted ball was played through for Ollie Hulbert to complete the turnaround nine minutes later.
Both Patten and Hulbert went close as Barry threatened to run riot against a Flint side who have struggled since winning promotion from the Cymru North at the first time of asking.
In the end, the hosts had done enough to wrap up three points for the first time this season, lifting them up to 7th and just two points off the top half of the table.
Flint is Barry’s destination next Saturday when they take on Connah’s Quay Nomads, who are currently ground sharing with the Silkmen (2.30 kick off)
