Barry RFC will be looking for revenge when the Bombers travel to Rhydyfelin on Saturday as the Admiral League action resumes.
Rhydyfelin beat Barry 34-10 at the Reservoir Field in September - and Saturday’s return fixture has been rearranged from the initial date of January 4th when the pitch at Rhydyfelin was unfit following prolonged bad weather.
Barry have two other re-arranged matches to go before the Division 1 East Central season, originally scheduled to finish on St David's Day, concludes with a home fixture against promotion-chasing St Joeseph’s, provisionally fixed for April 12th. The Bombers host Llanishen on April 5.
Barry’s youth team will take on Gorseinon in the WRU National Youth Plate Final at Rodney Parade on Bank Holiday Monday, May 5 (3.30pm). Youth head coach John Dimond is in the process of arranging warm-up games prior to the Newport showpiece, which will be his last match at the club.
*Barry under-16s will be in action in the Cardiff Cup when they travel to CRICC for the second of their group fixtures. Having beaten Llantwit Fardre 32-19 in their opening group game, victory next Sunday would clinch a semi-final spot.
