Two grassroots teams from the Vale have qualified for this season's FAW Amateur Trophy.
The pick of the second qualifying round ties locally was Holton Road's 4-2 derby win over Sully Sports.
The hosts were 2-0 up by half time through a goal from Jacob Constant and a penalty for Bradley O'Loughlin.
Jack Martyn and Daniel Morgan extended a commanding lead after the break, though Sully threatened a late comeback with goals from Issac Kahar and substitute Joe Collins.
Dinas Powys qualified for the first round proper on penalties following their 2-2 draw at Splott.
After going behind to an early Lewis Hayde strike, the Murch club responded with two goals from Issac Follon by half time.
An Ellis Hodgkinson penalty for Splott led to a shoot out, which Dinas won 5-3 with Ryan Garland scoring the winner.
Elsewhere, Cardiff Airport were knocked out after a 2-1 defeat at Penygraig United.
Harri Coxon equalised very late in the first half, but the Jenner Park club were undone by a goal either side of the break from Mitchel Hathaway.
And Ely Rangers also missed out on this season's competition, going down 2-0 at AFC Penrhiwceiber.
The first round proper takes place over the first weekend of October.
