Llantwit Major returned to Cymru South action after a lengthy break with a 2-2 draw at home to Cambrian United.
Nearly a month had passed since Ben Stait's side had last played a game when the Welsh Cup quarter finals visited a Windmill Lane ground shrouded in the Boxing Day mist.
United went ahead on 13 minutes with a well taken effort from Cameron Keetch before Nathan Renfree struck with the equaliser just six minutes before half time.
A bright start to the second half from Major saw Tom Tweedy score his fifth league goal of the season to edge the hosts ahead on 54 minutes.
But Llantwit were ultimately denied a full three points as David Thomas beat veteran keeper Jack Lansdown from the penalty spot with five minutes of normal time left.
Llantwit remain sixth in the table going into 2025, which begins with an early New Year's Day kick-off at strugglers Goytre United (1pm kick off)
