One of the most eventful weeks in Penarth RFC's history ended with a 52-33 win over Lampeter Town in the Division One Cup.
The Bears booked their spot in the quarter finals at Cardiff Arms Park, where the game was being played following last week's fire at the Athletic Club.
George Roberts, Owen Lloyd and Spencer Robinson were among the try scorers in an entertaining last-16 encounter.
Cardiff Rugby, which had waived the fees for hosting the cup tie, also managed to raise over £400 for Penarth towards the costs of rebuilding their clubhouse and replacing lost equipment and memorabilia.
Penarth resume their Admiral League campaign next Saturday when the Division One East Central leaders travel to Rhydyfelin.

Elsewhere, Cowbridge's Division Two Cup tie against Usk was postponed following a late pitch inspection by the referee just 15 minutes before kick off.
The Admiral League season resumed for lower league teams following the international break - with Llantwit Major earning a bonus point in their 30-7 win over Penygraig in Division Three.

Dinas Powys went down 22-12 at home to Llandaff in their first game under new head coach John Dimond, who joined the club in midweek following a brief spell at Sully Sports.
Old Penarthians were beaten 22-15 at Cefn Coed in Division Five and Sully Sports' Division Six game at Llanrumney was postponed.
