The Cymru South bowed out of the UEFA Regions Cup with a 2-1 victory over North Macedonia in their final group game.
Andy Bell’s side had already been knocked out of the tournament after following back-to-back defeats in Serbia.
Two Llantwit Major players were included in the 18-man squad with winger Matty Kimmins being given his first start in their last game, while keeper Jack Lansdown missed out after he was sent off in the 3-2 defeat to the FA of Vojodvina on Monday.
On the pitch, the in-form Alex Bonthron was pushing to get his third goal in three games from the start - and the Cwmbran Celtic midfielder made it count by breaking the deadlock on 32 minutes.
The big challenge for De Cymru was to avoid yet another capitulation, and although David Spasov drew level eight minutes after the break, the Cymru South had the last word as Liam Eason retook the lead in the 85th minute to end their cup campaign on a high.
Tîm Rhanbarthol Cymru finished third in their group with Vojodvina going through to the knockout stages in Milan as intermediate group 3 winners.
Kimmins and Lansdown will both be hoping to savour another European experience - this time at club level, when Llantwit Major face Belgian team Berchem Sport in the first round of the Fenix Trophy, which kicks off next month.
Meanwhile, back at home, Llantwit Major are gearing up to face Wenvoe club Ely Rangers in Saturday’s first round Welsh Cup derby at Windmill Lane (2pm ko)
