A young rugby player from Dinas Powys marked his summer holidays with a double cap celebrations across both codes.
Max Phillips, a product of both Dinas Powys RFC and St Cyres School in Penarth, switched codes to play for East Wales in an under 14s rugby league match last month.
Max scored the opening try for the eastern side in their 22-all draw against West Wales at The Gnoll in Neath, held as part of the U14s Origin Series.

He followed that up with a trip to France to play for Wales U15s in the European Touch Rugby Championship, making his debut against Belgium.
The team went onto take the bronze medal at the three-day tournament in Vichy.
After a great summer, Max said he is looking forward to getting "back into union" with both his school and his U14 club teams.
