The 1975 song by Greg Lake has been voted the Vale's Festive Favourite by listeners to Bro Radio and Bro Radio Christmas
50 years ago, the song by Greg Lake reached number 2 in the UK singles charts and was originally denied the top spot by Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody.
Despite efforts of Nathan from Vale Breakfast, Feliz Navidad reached 2nd place, closely followed by Mariah's "All I Want for Christmas" in 3rd.
Elton John's Step into Christmas and Coldplay's Christmas Lights, which have both featured in Gavin and Stacey Christmas Specials over the years made the chart however the song Uncle Bryn asks Dave Coaches to turn up, 'Driving home for Christmas' by Chris Rea, who passed away earlier this week, didn't make the top 20.
Popular favourites heard at this time of year from Jona Lewie, The Darkness and Leona Lewis all failed to make the chart.
The full top 20 that our very own 'Mr Christmas', Patrick Downes brought to you, can be seen here
