
Llantwit Major School is proud to announce its upcoming production of Oliver!
With preparation beginning in September, the pupils have been working hard to put on a fantastic performance!
The show will be running from Tuesday, 8th of July to Friday, 11th of July in the school hall, showcasing the talent of many students across all year groups in what promises to be a standout event this year!
Oliver! Set in Victorian era tells the story of a young orphan boy who has escaped the bleak warehouse as he wanders the streets he meets a ray of people, including Fagin, gentle Nancy and looming Bill Sikes. He finds himself running into mischief and causing problems along the way. Along with unforgettable songs such as “ Food, Glorious Food”.
This year's performance involves over 80 pupils, both on stage and behind the scenes. Demonstrating the talents from both the music and drama departments, who have worked tirelessly to bring this show together and now it's ready to take the stage. Llantwit Major School enter the Glamorgan Drama League annually and has an extensive trophy cabinet to show for it. You will not be disappointed!
