Events are being held to celebrate Barry's tenth anniversary as a Fairtrade town.
This year's Fairtrade Fortnight takes place from Monday 22nd September to Sunday 5th October.
Since the town was first awarded Fairtrade status in 2025, Barry Town Council says it's made a commitment to supporting producers and communities in low and middle income countries.
To mark the anniversary, a fairtrade quiz night will be held at the Cemetery Approach community centre on Friday 26th September from 7pm.
Teams can be made of up to four people with the winners receiving Fairtrade goodies.
Raffle tickets will be available on the night - and all proceeds will go towards the Town Mayor's chosen charities, Valeways and Mind in the Vale.
Tickets are £2 per person plus booking fee. To book, visit Barry Town Council on Ticketsource.
