Barry Town United kicked off the run-in to the Adran Premier campaign with a goalless draw at Swansea City.
It's the third time this season that Stevie McCarthy Campbell's side have held out for a point against the six-time league champions.
Swansea were looking to bounce back following their surprise midweek defeat to Wrexham, which saw them lose out on a place in the Championship Conference.
But it was Jamie Sherwood's side who produced most of the few chances to break the deadlock - with only keeper Molly Arnesen standing in the way to deny the hosts any leeway.
Barry weren't without their chances in the first half - with both Erin Murray and Ingrid Aadland shooting wide during the first half.
Keira Harris narrowly missed a header at close range after the break, while the pick of chances saw Jasmine Turner going inches wide of beating keeper Charlotte Haynes.
Amelia Herbert saw her best chance tipped over the bar in the closing stages as the game ebbed out, while Lucy Attwood came off the subs bench for her first appearance in three months after recovering from injury.
Barry are second in the plate conference - and sixth overall - as attention turns to next Sunday's home game with Aberystwyth Town at Jenner Park (2.30pm ko).
