Barry Town United held Swansea City to a goalless draw in the Adran Premier.
Stevie McCarthy Campbell's side earned their first point of the new season when they met the six-time league champions on their first ever visit to the Swansea.com Stadium.
Barry went close to breaking the deadlock via captain Lauren Harris in the first half, while away keeper Molly Arnesen turned in a star performance, making two fine saves to deny both Katy Hosford and Robyn Pinder.
The Swans, under new boss Jamie Sherwood, continued to be frustrated by the Barry defence after the break - despite enjoying most of the possession - with Arnesen going onto claim a clean sheet in only her second senior appearance.
Barry return to Jenner Park next Sunday to face an Aberystwyth side who are bottom of the table following two heavy defeats at the start of the campaign.
