Barry Town United were held to another goalless draw at home to Flint in the Cymru Premier.
It's the fifth time Steve Jenkins' men have drawn nil-nil in the league this season - with Barry missing the chance to return to the top half of the table.
Jenkins had rested several of his first choice regulars in their Nathaniel MG Cup win at Haverfordwest - with George Ratcliffe returning in goal, along with Owen Cuddihy, Mikey George and Eliot Richards.
Notably, there was no place - even on the bench - for Morgan Wigley, despite his penalty in last Tuesday's 2-1 victory.
Barry also held Flint to a stalemate when they last met in the league in September -but their first real chance came when Cuddihy broke clear down the left flank before his well-crafted cross to the back post found Ieuan Owen, whose shot sailed just wide.
Ben Hughes looked particularly dangerous for the Silkmen in the first half, with his cross to Mikey Burke flicked wide of the post.
Owen went close again when a loose ball was chipped over the bar, while Hughes nearly went from playmaker to scorer, only to misfire from close range.
After the break, Robbie Willmott was gifted possession from Flint's Jake Canavan, before his one-two with Richards ended in a 20 yard effort going wide.
Frustration set in with Barry enjoying more of the clear cut chances while Flint, under manager Lee Fowler, were sensing they could earn something towards steering clear of the drop zone.
Elliott Reeves overshot his volley from the edge of the box while Burke struck across the face of goal from Ben Wynne's pass.
As stoppage time ebbed away, referee Ben Williams waved off Barry's shouts for a penalty after Ollie Hulbert ran into Issac Lee.
Barry remain in seventh - and a point off the top six - going into next Saturday's visit to Cae-y-Castell, where Connah's Quay Nomads recorded a thumpiing 4-0 win over Penybont, who had skipper Clayton Green sent off.

Cardiff Met overtook Barry following Friday's 3-2 victory at leaders The New Saints, who remain nine points clear at the summit. Adam Roscrow struck for the Archers deep in stoppage time.
Haverfordwest County earned a crucial 2-2 draw with Caernarfon thanks to a 99th minute equaliser from Bluebirds captain Corey Shepherd.
Bottom club Llanelli managed to throw away all three points at Colwyn Bay, who won 3-1 to go fifth in the table.
Briton Ferry beat Bala Town 2-0 for their first win in four league games.
