Barry picked up one point, following a 2 – 2 draw as they welcomed Caernarfon Town to Jenner Park.
In what’s been described as a solid effort by Barry Town, early pressure paid off as Robbie Willmott’s cross rebounded off Ollie Hulbert, falling to Elliot Richards, who turned the ball home from close range.
Just five minutes before half-time, Caernarfon equalised with a goal from Phillip Francis Mooney.
Despite further opportunities for Barry Town in the first half, they were denied by 18-year-old Caernarfon Goalkeeper Hari Thomas.
Caernarfon’s Iwan Rhys Lewis opened the scoring in the second half, with a goal in the 59th minute.
Barry Town United Captain Callum Sainty brought the score level in the 79th minute, following a ball in by Mikey George, with Callum Sainty guiding the ball home.
The game finished Barry Town United 2, Caernarfon Town 2, with the team sharing the points.
The fixture saw Ben Williams-Margetson hit a milestone at the club, taking to the field in his 50th appearance in a Barry Town shirt.
