Barry Town United returned to the Cymru Premier's top six with a 4-0 win over strugglers Haverfordwest County.
It's now eight games unbeaten for Steve Jenkins' men, who remain in contention for a place in the Championship Conference when the league splits next month.
But before that, Barry take on Cymru South leaders Cambrian United next weekend in the semi-finals of the Nathaniel MG Cup.
Barry's second competitive against the Bluebirds in November heralded just one change rom last weekend's Welsh Cup win in Llanelli - with Josh Bernard returning in place of the absent Mikey George.
The hosts pressed early on as Owen Cuddihy's tight-angled cross to Ollie Hulbert eventually fell just wide of the post.
Robbie Willmott's resulting corner was flicked home at the near post by Keston Davies, taking the lead after just nine minutes with his second goal in as many games.
From another setpiece on 22 minutes, Ben Margetson beat the scramble for Willmott's cross to head into the back of the net to go 2-0 up.
Will Richards' bullet header from yet another corner was parried away by Haverfordwest keeper Luc Rees while the follow up was nodded wide by Callum Sainty.
A rare chance for the visitors towards half time saw sub Greg Walters curl over the bar from distance.
Barry continued to dominate in the second half with sub Dan Smith's first time shot from the area cleared from the target by Kyle McCarthy.
But with clear chances ebbing between both sides, Barry found their third goal on 75 minutes as Margetson found a gap through the wanting away defence with Ieuan Owen delivering a tight angled flick that gave Rees no chance.
Two minutes later, a desperate challenge on Owen saw McCarthy give away a penalty, duly dispatched by Hulbert, who registered his fifth league goal of the season.
Barry keeper George Ratcliffe denied Rhys Abbruzzese in the dying minutes on his way towards another clean sheet on a statement night at Jenner Park.
A big pre-Christmas run-in for Barry Town United gets underway with next Saturday's Nathaniel MG Cup final at Cymru South leaders Cambrian United (5.15pm ko) followed by a league derby at Penybont on Tuesday 9th December and the Welsh Cup fourth round clash at home to Gresford Athletic on Saturday 13th.

Barry retained sixth spot after Cardiff Met were held to a 2-2 draw at Bala on Saturday, while Penybont were edged out in a 5-4 thriller at Colwyn Bay.
The New Saints opened up a 12-point lead at the top following their 2-0 win over Caernarfon on Friday night, while Briton Ferry drew 2-2 at home to Flint Town United. Llanelli remain at the foot of the table after a last-gasp 2-1 defeat to Connah's Quay Nomads.
