Barry Town United held Cardiff Met to a 1-1 draw in their first away game of the new Cymru Premier season on Friday night.
Steve Jenkins' men endured a nightmare start at Cyncoed as a Ryan Reynolds volley put the Archers in front after just two minutes.
But Barry pressed hard for an equaliser in the first half with Sam Snaith's effort from a Ollie Hulbert cross going just wide.
But the visitors' persistence paid off ten minutes after the break when a fine phase of play led to Mikey George delivering a pin point cross for Snaith, who nodded home past away keeper Alex Lang.
Snaith almost provided a winning goal when he setup for Keenan Patten to head home at close range, only to be flagged for offside.
After back-to-back draws, Barry face a busy Bank Holiday double header, starting with a Friday night trip to Aberystwyth, followed on Monday by Newtown's visit to Jenner Park.
