The first phase of the Cymru Premier season reaches its climax on Tuesday - with Barry Town United aiming to secure a top six finish.
The final round of fixtures ahead of the league split was postponed last Friday night amid safety and travel concerns in the wake of Storm Goretti - with the FAW insisting it needed to protect sporting integrity.
Barry - who last reached the Championship Conference in 2021 - start the evening in sixth place, ahead of their near neighbours Cardiff Met on goal difference.
To be sure of clinching a top six spot, Steve Jenkins' men will need to avoid defeat against bottom club Llanelli and either equal or better the Archers' result at Penybont.
Such are the permeutations, Barry could also qualify if they beat Llanelli and Colwyn Bay (currently in fifth) lose to leaders The New Saints.
Among the more unlikely possibillities, they could also secure a top six spot if:
- Barry win against Llanelli AND Cardiff Met win by at most six goals more
- Barry lose against Llanelli AND Cardiff Met lose AND Haverfordwest County fail to win or win but without making up a 12-goal (or greater) GD deficit
Barry go into their final game of the first phase following back-to-back defeats against Briton Ferry Llanswel and Connah's Quay Nomads either side of the New Year, ensuring the race for the top six would go down to the wire.
Their visitors are currently managerless following the sacking of Lee John on Friday night, having won just two of their first 21 games this season.
Former Wales, Cardiff City and Barry Town centre-half Terry Boyle - who was briefly took charge at Jenner Park in 1994 - has been named as John's interim replacement.
