Connor Goldsworthy has returned to Llantwit Major on the eve of the new Cymru South season.
The defender is the fifth member of Major's title winning squad from the 2021-22 season to rejoin the Windmill Lane club since Karl Lewis' return as manager.
Goldsworthy was one of seven players who left the club en-masse to join Briton Ferry Llansawel, but later joined Trefelin BGC, initially on loan before making a permanent move last season.
Connor's brother Cian has also returned to Llantwit alongside Nathan Jones, Josh Jones and Cullen Kinsella.
Major kick off the new league campaign on Saturday at home to Aberystwyth Town, who will be adjusting to life in the second tier of Welsh football following relegation from the Cymru Premier.
Perhaps ironicially, the Seasiders have replaced manager Antonio Crobisiero with Callum McKenzie, who was unable to prevent Newtown from losing their top flight status last season.
But Lewis will be looking for an immediate response to last weekend's first-round exit in the Nathaniel MG Cup, which saw Major lose 2-1 to Afan Lido, despite a goal for the returning Cameron Gauci.

Elsewhere, Kayne McLaggon has settled in quickly to life at Newport City.
The former Barry Town United captain scored on his club debut in their 2-0 win over Baglan Dragons in the Nathaniel MG Cup last Sunday, booking a second-round tie at Haverfordwest County.
City, who finished third in their inaugural Cymru South campaign, get their league season underway on Friday night when they entertain Afan Lido at the Newport Stadium (7.30pm ko)
