All six Cymru Premier fixtures - including Barry Town United's home game against Llanelli - have been postponed following Storm Goretti.
The first phase of the season was expected to reach its climax on Friday night with all twelve clubs playing simultaneously.
But the FAW said it needed to protect sporting integrity with all six fixtures moved to next Tuesday night with a 7.45pm kick off.
A spokesperson said: "The effects of Storm Goretti, causing pitch issues and concern around travel, mean that at least one fixture in the schedule would have ordinarily been postponed."
"With matchday 22 fixtures needing to kick off at the same time to protect sporting integrity and mitigate against the risk of betting market manipulation, the decision was taken, on the guidance of UEFA and following consultation with JD Cymru Premier clubs, to postpone all of Friday night’s matches."
Barry are currently sixth in the table, ahead of near-neighbours Cardiff Met, on goal difference - and will need to either match or better the Archers' result at Penybont in order to secure a place in the Championship Conference for the first time since 2021.
Last season saw controversy when the FAW voted to allow a game between Bala Town and Connah's Quay Nomads - which was abandoned due to dense fog - to be replayed in full.
The Lakesiders had been trailing 3-0 but went onto win the replay 2-0, thus denying Barry - who went onto finish seventh in the table - a place in the top six.
The decision to replay the game provoked an angry response from Jenner Park, with a club spokesperson claiming the concept of sporting intergrity had been "ignored and dumped".
