Dinas Powys have qualified for this season’s Welsh Cup after beating Croesyceiliog 2-1 in the second qualifying round.
The Murch club, who play in the South Wales Premier League club, were the only grassroots team from the Vale to reach the first round proper of the prestigious competition.
Michael Passmore put the visitors in front after 22 minutes, but Dinas fought back after the break with two goals in four minutes from Kylan Erickson.
Dinas, who needed penalties to beat Clydach Wasps in the first qualifying round, will learn their next opponents later this week - with teams
