A few days earlier, more than 600 members attended the annual Mini and Juniors presentation. The club fields teams from crèche (ages 3-5) to under 16s, and each player was awarded a participation medal, with each team providing individual awards.

These awards go to players who stand out throughout the season, allowing fellow players, coaches, and parents to commend these individuals for their efforts and contributions to their team and teammates. The awards were presented by first and youth team players.

The Under-11s saw a final presentation to three of their players, who had been part of the team since Under-7s. Esme Brown, Alma Kenny-Hawkins, and Olivia Grace Williams-Canning played their final season of mixed rugby and were presented with named bricks which will be placed on Knappers’ Wall in the clubhouse.

Olivia Grace and Alma were both presented Barry RFC pathway caps by club secretary, Jo Evans, in recognition of their commitment to the club and sport since the age of seven.

Olivia Grace and Bobby Bolton had represented Vale of Glamorgan Schools Under-11s and were presented with a club tie by the club as recognition of their achievement.

Barry RFC is grateful to all the coaches, volunteers and parents who continue to volunteer for club, all playing a pivotal role in the success of the club, both on and off the pitch.
