Llantwit Major held Carmarthen Town to a 1-1 draw in the Cymru South on Friday night.
Kris Evans marked his return - on loan from Briton Ferry Llansawel - by scoring the equaliser in only Major's second league game of 2026.
Manager Karl Lewis also handed a first start to newly-signed goalkeeper Shaun Gardiner following his move from Treowen Stars last week.
The Old Gold went ahead after 26 minutes when Luke Cummings struck from the edge of the box - before Evans, a member of the 2021-22 title winning squad, drew level by heading in a setpiece five minutes before half time.
Major remain tenth in the table as attention turns to next Friday night's quarter final against Treowen Stars in the Welsh Blood Service Cup, which will be played at Trethomas Bluebirds' ground in Hengoed.

Elsewhere on Friday night, Pontypridd United beat relegation candidates Afan Lido 2-0 to steer further clear of the drop zone while Cwmbran Celtic remain rooted to the foot of the table after a 2-0 defeat at Trethomas Bluebirds.
The top-of-the-table clash between Trefelin and league leaders Cambrian United was postponed, while just one game went ahead on Saturday as Aberystwyth Town won 1-0 at Newport City.
