Former Barry Town United captain Kayne McLaggon has joined Cymru South club Newport City.
City announced McLaggon's arrival shortly after their 2-0 pre-season defeat at Jenner Park on Saturday.
Speaking about his decision to join the Steelmen, McLaggon said: "I know a lot of people here - the staff have been great."
"I've spoken to them in terms of trying to get in the club and everything I've asked for, they've been welcoming and made sure that I'm happy to join the club."
"I've played with probably five or six of the players at Barry and maybe other clubs, so it's a place I'm comfortable with already, even though I haven't started properly yet. Hopefully I'll bed in quickly and start fast."
