A number of players from Barry were among a group attending a baseball coaching session at Cardiff West Community High School, which was delivered by coaches from the UK women’s baseball team.
The coaches, who came from the UK, Italy and The Netherlands, ran sessions of fielding training and hitting training, and the players took part in Baseball5 games.
Baseball5 is a five-a-side fast-paced street version of the game.
The coaching day was organised by Baseball Softball Gwalia, which will shortly be announcing a programme of baseball and softball for the Barry area.
