Five summer signings at Llantwit

Llantwit Major have unveiled their first summer signings as they prepare for the start of next season.

Cian Goldwsworthy is returning to Windmill Lane after spending last season at Trefelin BGC where he made 27 apperances in all competition.

The forward last previously part of the Llantwit squad when the club won the Cymru South title three years ago - under then-manager Karl Lewis, who has since returned for a third stint in charge.

Four new faces are also joining Llantwit - with midifelder Arjen Matthews and forward Dan Roderick arriving from Ardal South West club Pontyclun, while striker Jack Bevan moves from Trefelin BGC

Goalkeeper Kane Draper joins from Cwmamman United, having previously featured for Pontypridd United and Cambrian & United, as well as spells at youth level with Swansea City and Nottingham Forest.

But Llantwit have also said goodbye to Matty Kimmins with the Belgian striker moving to Caerau Ely after three years.

Meanwhile, the FAW have confirmed Aberystwyth Town will be playing in the Cymru South next season following their relegation from the Cymru Premier after 33 years.

Newtown, who were also relegated from the Welsh top flight, will play in the Cymru North.

For Llantwit, the season begins with the first round of the Nathaniel MG Cup on the weekend of Friday 18th - Sunday 20th July with the club due to learn their opponents in the draw on Monday 25th June (8pm)

The Cymru South campaign begins the following weekend (Friday 25th - Sunday 27th July) with the fixtures being released on Monday 30th June at 10am.
