Soffia Kelly has been called up to the Wales squad at the Women’s Euros as injury cover.
The Barry-born goalkeeper is a late addition to Rhian Wilkinson’s squad in Switzerland following the withdrawal of Poppy Soper.
Kelly initially missed the cut for Wales’ first ever appearance at a major women’s tournament.
She has yet to win her first senior cap for her country, despite being included in the squad for Wales’ Nations League games against Denmark and Italy in the run up to the Euros.
Kelly, who signed her first professional contract at Aston Villa in March, has already represented Wales at under 19s level.
Last month, she was named Young Person of the Year at the Bro Radio Community Awards.
During her last stint with the Wales camp, manager Rhian Wilkinson praised Kelly, telling Bro Radio: "She's been brilliant. We had her in for a bit last camp as well, just to integrate her a little bit."
"I think Soffia's done a great job of bringing in an..energy, training hard and appreciating this experience with the seniors."
Following back-to-back defeats against the Netherlands and France, Wales will need to beat defending champions England by at least four goals in St Gallen on Sunday to stand a chance of reaching the knockout stages.
Leciester City’s Olivia Clark started as keeper in their 3-0 defeat to the 2017 champions Holland, while Manchester United’s Safia Middleton-Patel was preferred in Wednesday night’s 4-1 loss to France, which saw Jess Fishlock score Wales’ first ever tournament goal.
