Llantwit Major are back to winning ways after beating Carmarthen Town 1-0 in the Cymru South on Friday night.
It's now nine games unbeaten in the league for Major, who climbed up to fifth in the table and are just a point off the top three.
Ben Stait's men were looking for a response after bowing out of the Welsh Cup on penalties to Monmouth Town last weekend.
Kick off at Richmond Park was delayed for fifteen minutes following a serious accident on the M4.
But it took just six minutes for Matty Kimmins to fire home what turned out to be the only goal of the game.
Veteran keeper Jack Lansdown went onto maintain a clean sheet as Major rode it out against an Old Gold side described by their own manager Mark Aizlewood as "very poor".
Llantwit return home next Saturday to face struggling Afan Lido at Windmill Lane (2pm ko).
