Llantwit Major's winless start to the new season continued with a 2-1 defeat at Cymru South leaders Cambrian United.
Karl Lewis's men paid a Friday night visit to Clydach Vale to face the only league side to retain a 100% record.
Striker Kofi Rowe, who joined from Newport City last week, was handed his full debut, with Ryley Allen favoured in goal ahead of Kane Draper.
It was Rowe who made the immediate impact with a superb individual effort to put the visitors ahead after 24 minutes.
But what proved to be a physical encounter took its tool on Llantwit as Liam Eason drew level on 76 minutes with his sixth league goal of the season.
Any hopes that Llantwit could spoil the hosts' perfect start to the campaign were thwarted ten minutes later when Eason played in Calum Bateman, who struck past Allen to grab all three points.
Llantwit have yielded just one point from their first four games, but they'll have a chance to make amends on Bank Holiday Monday when they visit Trefelin BGC, who beat early strugglers Cwmbran Celtic 4-0.

Elsewhere, Carmarthen Town moved up to second with a 1-0 victory over Aberystwyth - thanks to a first half goal from ex-Barry right-back Luke Cummings.
Cardiff Draconians have their first win since promotiion after beating Pontypridd United 2-1, while Newport City drew 1-1 with ten-man Ynyshir Albions. Ex-Barry skipper Kayne McLaggon notched up an assist for Danny Hillman.
But Caerau Ely's home game against Baglan Dragons was abandoned at half time due to floodlight failure - the hosts were 1-0 up thanks to a goal from Dan Griffiths.
