A youth player from Barry RFC clinched a bronze medal at the European U18s Touch Junior Rugby Championship in France.
Isaac Thomas was part of the Wales squad which clinched third place at the three-day tournament in Vichy.
Five teams took part in the round robin tournament - Wales beat Lebanon 17-1 and Ireland 11-4, but lost 8-7 to France and 12-2 to England.
The third place play-off saw Wales beat Ireland 11-6 - while England were crowned champions after a 9-3 victory over hosts England.
In the group games, Isaac, a student at Richard Gwyn High School in Barry, scored three tries. Wales also played exhibition matches against England U20s and France U20s. Having enjoyed the tournament, Isaac is looking forward to more touch rugby during the coming season.
Isaac (16) has come through the Mini and Junior section at Barry, via the club’s Player Pathway, from the age of seven, and is a first year Youth squad member for the 2024-25 season.
