Mason Grady will make his 50th Cardiff appearance in their opening European Challenge Cup game against Stade Francais.
The Barry-born centre returned to action in last weekend's URC win over Zebre after recovering from a shoulder injury.
It's been a long road back for Grady, who missed most of last season after fracturing his ankle while playing for Wales in their defeat against Fiji in November 2024.
He finally returned in September, but needed surgery for an AC joint injury following a pre-season game against Richmond, which ruled him out of this autumn's internationals.
But last Saturday, while Wales endured a record drubbing on home soil at the hands of South Africa, Grady was in Parma to register his first appearance of the season - a 29-14 victory for the Blue and Blacks, who are now second in the URC with five wins from their opening six games.
Grady will be joined in Paris by Penarth-born teammate Evan Lloyd, who returns from Steve Tandy's autumn camp, despite missing the cut to face the Springboks.

Earlier in the week, the Vale duo visited Penarth Athletic Club as Cardiff joined the rest of the Welsh rugby community in rallying round the Bears following the clubhouse fire early on Monday.
Evan Lloyd, whose two brothers still play for the club, told Cardiff Rugby's website: "This was my club all through my age-grade. I grew up here and this is where I played until college and before things kicked off, so it holds a lot of memories."
"When I got the videos (from Matty Young), I sort of thought it was fake. You see that sort of thing and you don’t really believe it but then it all came out and it was just a massive shock. I’m just gutted with all the stuff that’s lost and how long it will take before it will be back to normal."
"There was my Wales Under-20s jersey, my brother’s 20s jersey, my mate’s Malta one as well. Then there was all the Barbarians related stuff, the Springbok head was obviously a massive loss, some really old Wales jerseys from as early as the 1920s."
"So to lose all that stuff is terrible, because how are you going to get all the stuff like that again?"
The Arms Park will play host to Penarth's Division One Cup tie against Lampeter Town on Saturday evening with Cardiff agreeing to wave all costs for staging their second round tie, which now kicks off at 5.30pm.
The WRU is also providing free supporter buses to and from the game and bucket collections will also be taken during Cardiff RGC's Super Rygbi Cymru game against RGC (2.30pm ko).
Penarth RFC secretary Dan Mears said: "Cardiff helping with our first team fixture on Saturday has taken such a huge weight off our shoulders. To get that short-term fix in place so quickly and with so little resistance has been phenomenal. Cardiff doing that is just massive."
"On Saturday, we’re looking to meet at the club to have some drinks, a lot of people will reminisce about some times in the clubhouse and then buses from the WRU will take us in to watch the first team play their cup game on the Arms Park."

Although the main room at the Lavernock Road clubhouse was gutted, both the long room and the kitchen have reopened safely with training for the junior sections of the club due to be held on Sunday.
Jamie Muir, Cardiff's interim managing director, added: "As soon as we saw the devastating footage from Monday morning, we got in touch with Penarth to offer our support."
"They are a real hub of the community, who are great supporters of Cardiff Rugby and many of us have our own personal links with the club."
"Staging Saturday’s cup game at the Arms Park is the least we could do and we are continuing dialogue around further support we can offer in the weeks and months ahead."
