Three clubs from the Vale of Glamorgan are taking part in Cardiff Rugby's Clubs Day initiative.
More than a thousand grassroots players, coaches and parents from 25 clubs took to the pitch for the first of two events held during January to celebrate the community game.
Junior 'mini teams from Barry, Old Penarthians and Llantwit Major were among those who took part in the traditional half-time parade during Cardiff's European Challenge Cup win over Racing 92 last weekend.

Nadine Griffiths, community foundation director at Cardiff Rugby, said: "It was fantastic to see so many young players and families at the Arms Park and to feel that buzz around the stadium."
"Clubs’ Day is all about celebrating the grassroots game and the people who make it special, and the response we’ve had has been brilliant."
"It was also great to see clubs and teams travelling in from outside of Cardiff to take part in the half-time parade. That really shows the reach of the Cardiff Rugby region and how strong the connection is across our communities."
"We wanted to do this as a way of thanking everyone involved in these clubs for their contribution and hard work in the game of rugby up and down the country."
The Clubs Day initiative is split across two home games - with more teams taking centre stage when Cardiff take on Benetton in their next URC home game on Saturday 2th Janaury (7.45pm ko).
Any junior teams within the Cardiff Rugby catchment area - from under 12s to under 16s - can take part with each club receiving 20 free junior tickets and five adult tickets to the match.
