Llantwit Major will travel to Italy for a post-season clash with Rome-based club Vesta Calcio.
The Cymru South club say they are planning to enter a new European competition next season, following the apparent demise of the Fenix Trophy.
Major played in two of the four tournaments, targeted at non-league and amateur clubs, making their debut in February 2024 with a home win over BK Skjold and a draw against Enfield Town.
Their second foray into Europe the following October featured a memorable encounter against Berchem Sport near Antwerp, which saw the Belgian club win 8-2 on aggregate.
Vesta Calcio, based to the north east of Rome, were formed in 2020 and currently play in the regional Lazio group of the Prima Categoria - the seventh tier of Italian football and the fourth level of the amateur game - with amibitions of turning professional within the next decade.
Last year, the club even attracted Diego Perotti out of retirement - the former Argentinian midfielder won both the Europa League and the Copa Del Rey with Sevilla, before spending four years at AS Roma.
Unlike Llantwit's previous endevaours, their Italian trip will not take place until after the domestic season has ended, so as not to interfere with Welsh competitions.
