Barry Town United have signed Morgan Wigley on loan from Cardiff City on transfer deadline day.
The 20 year-old centre-forward has joined the Cymru Premier club until the first phase of the league campaign ends in January.
Wigley has been a regular in the Bluebirds' U18 and U21 teams, having been a part of the club's academy since he was seven years old.
In July, he was one of three youth players who linked up with the first team squad under new manager Brian Barry-Murphy during their pre-season camp in Spain.
Wigley could make his Barry debut as early as next Sunday lunchtime when Steve Jenkins' men head north to face early leaders Caernarfon Town (12.30pm ko)
Barry held reigning champions The New Saints to a goalless draw last Saturday - although they haven't won in the league since the opening day of the season - while the Cofis were held to a 1-1 draw at Haverfordwest County.
The summer transfer window has also seen the return of goalkeeper George Ratcliffe to Jenner Park, along with the arrivals of midfielders Josh Bernard and Dan Barton, strikers Dan Smith and keeper Joe Thomas.
