A 92nd minute equalsier saw Barry Town United earn a 1-1 draw at Cardiff Met in the Cymru Premier on Monday.
Robbie Willmott struck with only his second ever club goal to deny the Archers their first win of the season.
Ollie Hulbert returned in the only change to the starting line-up after Friday night's defeat to Penybont, with new signing Sam Smith dropping to the bench.
A cagey start from both sides saw Willmott unable to connect with a teasing cross from Ieuan Owen on the edge of the box, while Mikey George was denied by the Met defence from setting up Hulbert.
For the hosts, Ryan Reynolds found enough space in midifeld to break clear only to go wide from outside the area, while a Barney Soady free kick went begging.
Owen went closest towards breaking the deadlock with his first effort on-goal narrowly falling wide, before moments later, another cross from Hulbert eluded the forward at close range.
Barry skipper Callum Sainty, who sustained a head injury moments before, made a fine block to deny Sam Jones' volley at the back post in stoppage time.
But the Archers started the second half stronger - with Lifumpa Mwandwe blasting his six-yard effort from over the bar after latching onto a superb cross from Jasper Payne.
The pressure grew on the Barry defence, who denied Ryan Reynolds from distance, before on 62 minutes, a smart one-two with Dixon Kabongo saw Harri John's low shot parried away by George Ratcliffe's right foot and into the path of Sam Jones, who pounced to put Met in front.
Mwandwe nearly doubled their lead from Reynolds' cross at the back post, producing a terrific point blank save from Ratcliffe, while Hulbert's tight angled volley was well saved at the other end by the Archers' Kelland Absalom.
Ben Margetson made a crucial block to deny sub Riley Lonergan as Barry sought to find a way back in the closing minutes.
In the end, it fell to midfielder Willmott, who was played in by sub Josh Bernard, before delivering a powerful low drive from the edge of the box that gave Absalom no chance and rescued a point for the visitors.
Four games in, Barry sit fifth in the table on five points with reigning champions The New Saints visiting Jenner Park on Saturday and looking to reassert themselves following a 1-1 draw at Colwyn Bay on Monday.
