Barry Town United rounded off phase one of the Adran Premier season with a 6-1 defeat at home to title challengers Wrexham.
James Fishlock's side have conceded 13 goals in their last two games and will be looking to turn their form around when the Plate Conference gets underway later this month.
Emily Blunt replaced Molly Arnesen in goal for her senior start - with Fishlock handing Jenner Park debuts to Anya Grunewald, Holly Jones and Jemima Lister, in place of Evelyn Ingram, Keira Harris and Ellie Preece.
With a top four finish long out of reach, Barry had nothing to lose from ringing the changes - while Wrexham, under manager Jenny Sugarman, are making a sustained push for their first Adran Premier title.
And so it proved as Katie Barker took the lead after 17 minutes from Faye Knox's cross, before Rosie Hughes punished the hosts for a defensive error, rounding Blunt and slotting into the empty net a quarter of an hour later.
Barry gave themselves hope just beore half time when Jasmine Turner turned the tables on Wrexham's midfield and struck past Liz Craven for only her second goal of the season.
But the second half was one-way traffic - with Hughes restoring Wrexham's two-goal lead from a clinical volley just after the hour, before Knox's low ball slipped through Blunt's hands.
Barker completed the rout, again rounding the Barry keeper on her way to Wrexham's fifth before the Reds forward wrapped up a hattrick in the 80th minute to complete another agonising day for the hosts.
There's another weekend off for Barry due to the Women's Welsh Cup, before phase two begins on Sunday 15th February with the fixtures to be announced in due course.
