32 people have been arrested in a day of action targeting wanted suspects across Cardiff and the Vale.
South Wales Police said arrests were made in the Barry and Cardiff Bay areas during the operation on Thursday.
Two men from Splott were later charged with stealing a Ford Transit van and machinery worth more than £100,000, including a tree chipper, a generator and welding equipment.
Kevin Price (44) and Christopher Price (47) were remanded in custody by Cardiff magistrates until next month, accused of theft of attempted theft.
There were also further arrests in the city centre, Cathays, Ely, Fairwater, Llanishen, Llanedeyrn and Roath.
A spokesperson said they were made for a variety of offences such as theft, assault, rape, possession of an offensive weapon, domestic violence, wanted on warrant, criminal damage, and harassment.
Six people were wanted on prison recall.
Inspector Geraint Hughes from South Wales Police said: "The arrests mean that a significant number of wanted individuals are no longer on our streets, and our streets are safer as a result. This operation is just one of many examples of the work that we are doing to keep Cardiff safe."
